The following apply to these Terms and Conditions

App means the Muzz Buzz Rewardz App.

Unique Code means the 6-symbol code embedded into the eGift Card.

Muzz Buzz Group means Muzz Buzz Franchising Pty Ltd ABN 17 106 547 620 of Unit 17, 27 Old Great Northern Highway, Midland, WA 6056, our affiliates and subsidiaries.

eGift Cards means any electronic gift card issued by Muzz Buzz that you have purchased or received through the Website for one or more of the Participating Stores.

eGift Credits means the value for which the Muzz Buzz goods and services can be redeemed at any Participating Store.

Expiry Date means the date specified in the electronic message for each eGift Card expiry which is generally 36 months from the card’s purchase date, after Expiry Date an eGift Card will not be available for redemption.

Participating Stores means the Muzz Buzz drive-thru coffee shops listed in these Terms of Use at which each of the eGift Cards can be used to purchase goods or services.

Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, your email address and payment details.

Remaining Card Value means, at any time, that portion of the initial value loaded onto the Gift Card which is unspent and can be accessed by using the Gift Card in accordance with these Terms of Use.

Website means https://australia.muzzbuzz.com or at such other address should the URL change.

A reference to we, us or our is a reference to Muzz Buzz Group.

A reference to you or your is a reference to the person who is in possession of the eGift Card at the relevant time for the purposes of these Terms of Use, or who authorises another person to do something with or to the eGift Card on their behalf.


These Terms of Use govern your use of the eGift Card.

Agreeing to these Terms of Use

By using or attempting to use a eGift Card, or by making a transaction enquiry or exercising any right to redeem value loaded on a eGift Card, you:

  • agree to be bound by these Terms of Use;
  • warrant to us that you will comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and that the eGift Card will not be used in any manner that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unfair or otherwise harmful to consumers; and
  • acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy at https://australia.muzzbuzz.com/privacy-policy/.

Where and what for can eGift Cards be used

The Website sets out the up to date information for each Participating Store as to where each eGift Card can be used.

An eGift Card can be used only for allocating an eGift credit to the App account.


There are usually no delays in allocating the eGift credits to the account, but if there is a delay, the eGift Card cannot be used for allocating credits to another App account.

Unique Code

The unique code that we email you is linked to your email account that identifies you. You acknowledge that we identify the Unique Code with you, and you or anyone on your behalf may use it only once. If your unique code is lost or stolen, and you require another one, we may then cancel the Unique Code associated with you and issue another Unit Code for you of the same value.

Purchases with your eGift Credits

Select goods or services in your Participating Store and pay using the eGift Credits on the App or order goods and services in the App (where applicable) and send the order to your Participating Store. The transaction will be completed when the balance on your App account has reduced. No change will be given. No money refunds will be processed. All and any eGift Credit can only be used in whole or part against future purchases.

You agree that we can reduce the remaining balance on your App account by the value of all purchases of goods and services that are authorised by you.

Transactions are authorised by you by you agreeing to pay the amount of that transaction by the reduction of the eGift Credit balance on your App account.

Purchases exceeding the eGift Credit balance

If you wish to make a purchase for an amount that exceeds the remaining balance on your App account, you agree to pay the excess using the bank card linked to your App account.

No cash advances

You cannot obtain any cash advance with your eGift Credit or redeem your eGift Credit for cash.

Validity and expiry of eGift Cards

Your eGift Card will be valid for use until the Expiry Date. To check the Expiry Date of your eGift Card, call 08 9277 08666 or ask us at support@muzzbuzz.com.au.

Can I exchange my eGift Card?

You cannot exchange your Gift Card for a different brand, denomination or type of Gift Card or for another tender, cash or discount.

Can I cancel my Gift Card?

No, you cannot cancel your Gift Card.

Checking your Gift Card balance and transaction history

You can check the remaining eGift credit balance and transaction history at any time by opening the App, or by calling 08 9277 8666. For balance enquiries by phone, you will be required to present the identification by giving the operator your email address, mobile phone number or both.

Exchanging items purchased with a Gift Card

Goods that are purchased solely, or in part with a Gift Card may be exchanged or returned subject to the exchange and returns policy of each Participating Store.

Your eGift Card, your responsibility

You are responsible for the use and safety of the Unique Code. You are liable for all transactions on your App account, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by us or by any of our employees.

Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right to change any of these Terms of Use at any time where the change is required:

  • to add or remove Participating Stores or where the уGift Credits may be redeemed including but not limited to where a Participating Store ceases to carry on business (and for avoidance of doubt Muzz Buzz Group will have no liability in relation to the remaining eGift Credits balance for Participating Stores that cease to carry on business that are not related bodies corporate of Muzz Buzz Group);
  • to add or remove goods or services which may be purchased with the Gift Card;
  • for infrastructural, systems, administrative or operational reasons or to prevent the occurrence of fraud or other unlawful or unacceptable conduct which contradicts the Acceptable Use Policy (APU);
  • to comply with any contract, law, regulation or statute or order or judgment of any court, tribunal or other body having competent jurisdiction; or
  • where we, acting reasonably, consider that it will not be to your detriment.

Changes to these Terms of Use will be available on the website or the App.


Our Privacy Policy at https://australia.muzzbuzz.com/privacy-policy/ explains how we handle the personal information that we may collect from you with respect to eGift Cards. It is important that you carefully read and understand the Privacy Policy.

Errors and complaints

If you have reason to believe that an error has occurred in relation to your eGift Card, you should email support@muzzbuzz.com.au or call 08 9277 8666. Any complaints about goods or services purchased with eGift Credits must be resolved directly with the relevant Participating Store.

Force majeure

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage (whether direct or consequential), nor be in default under these Terms of Use, for failure to observe or perform any of our obligations under these Terms of Use for any reason or cause which could not, with reasonable diligence, be controlled or prevented. These causes include acts of God, pandemics, acts of nature, acts or omissions of government or their agencies, strikes or other industrial action, fire, flood, storm, epidemics, riots, power shortages or failures, sudden and unexpected system failure or disruption by war or sabotage, and other acts or omissions of third parties.

Applicable law

These Terms of Use are to be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any dispute arising from your receipt or use of a eGift Card is exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia, Australia.
