We love partnering with local heroes who go above and beyond to make a difference in our community. That’s why we joined forces with the brave firefighters of Perth for an extraordinary charity campaign. Together, we set out to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts—the Total Care Burns Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital. But we didn’t stop at just selling calendars; we added an exciting twist by having the firefighters wash windshields at select Muzz Buzz locations. The campaign, which ran from November 14, 2022, to January 1, 2023, was a roaring success, bringing in a staggering $15,402.46 for this important cause. Partnering with Perth’s fearless firefighters was a natural choice for us. We have always admired their dedication, bravery, and unwavering commitment to keeping our city safe. So when we learned about the Total Care Burns Unit and the critical support it provides to children in need, we knew we had to do something to help.

The centerpiece of our fundraising efforts was the Perth firefighters’ 2023 calendar. These calendars showcased captivating images of our local heroes in action, allowing our customers to get an inside look at the incredible work they do. By selling these calendars at our Muzz Buzz stores, we offered our customers a chance to support the cause while enjoying a tangible memento of our firefighters’ noble service.

But we didn’t stop there. To create an even more engaging experience and give our community a chance to interact with the firefighters, we organised windshield-washing events at selected Muzz Buzz locations. On December 10th and 17th, our customers had the unique opportunity to get their windshields cleaned by these real-life heroes. The chosen stores—Bentley, Beechboro, Canning Vale, Ellenbrook, High Wycombe, Joondalup, Malaga, Whitfords, and Rockingham—were abuzz with excitement as customers witnessed firsthand the dedication and bravery of our firefighting champions.

The response from our community was truly heartwarming. Customers enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to support the Total Care Burns Unit and show their appreciation for the firefighters. Our stores buzzed with energy and gratitude as people came together, not only to buy calendars but also to express their admiration for the selfless work done by our local heroes.

Through this collaboration, we managed to raise an incredible $15,402.46. But the impact goes beyond the financial contributions. We created awareness about the Total Care Burns Unit and the vital services they provide to young patients.
