The Caffeine Hit You Didn’t Know You Needed – Muzz Buzz Joins Forces with Red Bull

This week Muzz Buzz launched our new summer mocktails, announcing we’re working with the global leader of energy drinks, Red Bull, to create a fresh range of cold drinks for our customers ahead of the warmer months.
Opting to work with a global brand is a big decision to make for any business, and it was certainly one we didn’t take lightly.
Red Bull is a globally respected company, available in 170 countries around the world and with a market share of more than 40%.
Muzz Buzz is known as an iconic West Australian brand, and so for us, it made sense to work alongside a global icon.
The decision has allowed us the opportunity to create a new drink offering together, offering customers a fresh option beyond our signature coffees.
In the past we’ve highlighted the importance of businesses offering fresh products and/or services where possible, particularly when looking at ways to continue to entice customers in the current economic climate.
On the back of a run of very hot days in Western Australia last year, the team and I sat down and looked at our cold drink range and wanted to create a product that was not only new but stood out from our usual offerings.
Working with Red Bull allowed us to achieve those goals.
As with any decision worth taking, the logistics and finalising the final details took some time, but our hard work has borne fruit this week with five drink flavours now available across all stores; Berry Breeze, Tropical Blazt, Tropical Mint Rush, Vanilla Chill and Mango Buzz.
We look forward to hearing the feedback from our customers!

The collaboration with Red Bull reflects a strategic alignment that could redefine Muzz Buzz's brand identity. However, I wonder about the implications of working with such a massive player in the beverage industry. Will this partnership overshadow local identity? As consumers, we should consider how initiatives like this impact our choices and the value of using alternative payment methods like https://www.vanplant.co.nz/ Pay ID in supporting local brands.
